| 2:54.0 | Recently archaeologist and Rome found an ancient statue of a Roman emperor who was dressed to look like the Greco Roman demigod Hercules. |
| 3:03.0 | It is assumed that the Emperor chose his look for his statue to proclaim his personal beliefs during the time when Christianity was spreading throughout the Empire. |
| 3:11.0 | The Emperor in question Emperor Desius only ruled for two years between 249 and 251 AD which is when he was killed by the Goths during the Battle of Abertus. |
| 3:22.0 | It's said that the statue was found near the Via Apia and had most likely been placed in the trench sewers at some point in the last 100 years. |
| 3:31.0 | The statue features Desius wearing the skin of Anemian lion which is an animal that was killed by Hercules as part of the 12 labors that he was to carry out. |
| 3:40.0 | When the archaeologists examined the statue they determined that the facial features were not that of Hercules but had the features of Emperor Gaius Messius Quintus Tregenus Desius. |
| 3:52.0 | And by cloaking a statue in such a manner represented his religious beliefs stressing the importance of Rome's relationship with the traditional worship of the gods. |
