I say this tentatively, knock on wood with my

writing, writing within the last couple weeks.

Number one, after several months of feeling like I was never

going to break through some of the plot snarls I've bequeathed myself for the third book in my Dreamlander trilogy,

I think I finally got myself sorted.

One thing I will say about writing sequels is that it's even tougher than usual to gain objectivity,

since you're automatically inheriting all these subjectivity, you still haven't shaken from writing the previous book.

Anyway, as I say, fingers crossed,

that I've made the big breakthrough I think I have.

And the second good thing, which is probably not

so coincidental to the first, is that I think I've also finally got myself

into a solid five-day-a-week writing routine which as you're probably tired of

hearing me say is something I've been struggling with ever since moving last fall.

Anyway, everything's finally taking smoothly for the moment.
