Today we'll be telling the story of St Conrad of Constance,

whose feast is celebrated on November 26.

Conrad was born in Germany around the year 900.

He was born into the Wellth family, a powerful noble dynasty, and was the son of Count Heinrich of Altorf.

Not a whole lot is known about his early life, but he was educated at the cathedral school

in Constance and in 934 was made the bishop. St Conrad was close to Emperor Otto the first

and travel with him to Italy,

but kept himself out of politics

and focused on his religious duties instead.

He founded several churches and a hospital which he named after the True

Cross. St Conrad lived to be around 75 years old. Now it's time for our story. St Conrad closed his eyes and prayer.

He loves saying the Mass.

It was the most wonderful part of being a priest,

and he was filled with gratitude for the privilege.
