In March 2019, I got some good news. I'd been chosen along with seven other journalists and

eight campaigners to be a Bertha

fellow. The Bertha Foundation was providing funding for journalists around the world to

spend a year investigating and reporting on housing and land issues in their country of origin.

We were a mixed bunch. I was looking at how the freeze in housing benefits in the UK was pushing people into homelessness.

Then there was satiris.

A data journalist based in Athens and co-founder of Athens Live, Greece's first non-profit media outlet.

Currently, I am investigating Greece's housing market and the inequalities impact

in the most vulnerable society.
