But he knows that his people are too dumb to know what the hell is really going on.

So he can just say any old thing he wants.

But it turns out there are actual consequences outside of the bubble for shit like this.

Well, and I think a lot of us knew when the Republican platform was changed just on Ukraine and nothing else, that something was up and that the Russian ambassador was hanging out with Trump people.

Yes. Hey, my brothers, how are you doing today? That's very good. Yeah, Ukraine. And it wasn't a NAFTA change where we just changed the font so that President Stupin could feel good about himself and sign what essentially already exists.

It was an actual substantive change to the Republican platform.

To soften our international treatment of Russia regarding Ukraine, that was the change.
