0:32.1	We are going to talk about what culture says about motherhood, what scripture says about
0:36.8	motherhood and how I believe Christians are called to think about it and represent it

0:50.5	of two young kids, a toddler and a newborn for those of you who are in-teramed that stage

1:01.6	First I want to set the scene of where we are in this cultural, political, even spiritual
1:08.6	moment when it comes to parenting.
1:12.9	We are living in a day when women are told that the most important thing for us to do
1:18.0	in life is not to be a mom and not necessarily even to have a career, not to have a bunch
1:24.5	of solid friendships or be a responsible citizen or a contributing community member.
1:30.2	None of these things were told our paramount.
1:32.7	The most important thing we hear is to find ourselves, to love ourselves, to empower ourselves.
