My kids and I have been watching a great show.

You may have watched it too because it's one of Netflix's top shows.

It's called Is It Cake?

And it's based on a popular Instagram video from 2020 that depicted someone cutting into

what appeared to be a crox sandal, but was in fact a cake.

Netflix brilliantly took a two-second meme and stretched it into an eight-episode baking

show.

These contestants create cakes which replicate common objects in an effort to trick celebrity

judges.

Things that look like a croissant or a bag or even a sack of cash.

Winners of each episode receive $5,000 in a chance to win more money by identifying which

display of cash is real and which is the cake.

And the winner of the season receives $50,000.

It is most easily the bingeable show of the week for you.

Much needed escape as on binge-worthy series.

I recommend it.
