There's no ambiguity over whether the ACLU has lost that vision.

There's such a deep irony in not taking cases contrary to our values because you're essentially saying,

oh, if you want me to defend your free speech, well, first tell me what you said.

Right, it's meaningless, right?

Like, free speech means nothing if it means, I'm only going to defend you if you agree with me, right?

We'll take a look at the tanking markets, which don't have me stressed at all. I'm not panicking. Who's panicking? Not this guy. Then we'll ask, what the hell happened to the ACLU? We'll try to explain that organization's hard turn to the left. The House is letting congressional staffers unionize, again raising the question, how is this just now happening? And a judge is throwing out New York's

gerrymandered maps, killing Ravi's dream of merging his hometown with Park Slope. But first things, first,

the only constant in politics is change. And I just came up with that line. But all that change

comes with a lot of finger pointing and shoot from the hip analysis on which party has changed more.

Either Democrats or Republicans have gone off the deep end, depending on who you ask, and maybe everybody's right to some extent.

But this conversation needs a lot more nuance than what it's getting right now.

So Ravi, let's just start off by getting your

thoughts on what do you think about this whole phenomenon? You know, Elon Musk was tweeting

basically things that were saying that the Democrats have gone further left and the Republicans

have gone to the right. What do you think about that? Yeah, I always start with by thinking,
