I'm great. I'm great. You know, I'm always doing projects. I do know that. What, uh, what are you working on? Oh boy. Oh yeah, big projects right now. Um, uh, I've got a lot of work to do.

Uh, I do know that. What, uh, what are you working on? Oh boy. Uh, big projects right now. Um, uh, I've returned to my energy project, trying to get my energy straightened out. I'm also spending a lot of time with bins and bin systems. I'm doing a lot of binning. Um, I'm, I'm going to take my, uh, my MacBook Pro that bricked to the Apple store today. There's all of that, you know, uh, but you know, I, I complained, but who'd listen? Actually, things are going fine.

I'm here to listen. Okay. Well, you know, you've moved in life. Yes. A phenomenon. I can't put an exact year on this, but certainly by the time I was moving five times a year in college, but before that, there's this funny Zeno's paradox to moving.

Can you explain Zeno's paradox just real quick? Yeah. Uh, Zeno, one is going to the world is the one that like, how can an arrow be in this place? I'm not in this place in motion. But the famous one is if you stand, let's say, one giant size footstep from a wall, and then you take a half a step toward the wall.

You're now much closer than you were before. Correct. All right. And I know this is not for you. This is for listeners because you're a learning man of liberal arts.

You participate in the history of ideas. I was a participant.

And they say, okay, that's good. I'm almost done. I'm on my wall. Okay.

Yeah. Sure. You're halfway there. You take another half step toward the wall, and you're certainly closer to how this story ends. It's infinite recursion or something.

Yeah. Sure. It's turtles all the way down.

Yep. Turtles are standing on elephants, you know. But I found that to be true in moving where like, you know, I think, especially if you're getting some help, whether that's from your friends or professionals, like, oh, we've moved the bed. We've moved the couch. That's all out. And like, you're the first giant half step toward the wall.

Title is that all the big stuff is gone. And you're like, hey, I'm just about done here. But boy, you never not done. Because then your next half step could be stuff like, oh, get the books off the shelves. That's not that hard.

Good tip here that I learned in one of my moves was, I don't know if you can still do this time was you could go to liquor stores and get the liquor boxes and a liquor box.

Whoa. Oh liquor box. Okay. You poke in the front liquor in the rear. Uh-huh. And you, uh, I once knew a man that had that on a shirt paid to have it on a shirt. But you, um, but your next big half step, what they say is they say, uh, you know, the problem is people put to me heavy books in big boxes. That's no good.

A liquor. A liquor box sized box. Uh-huh. I'm not judging. And I'm so not being able to know. No, I just want people to be happy. That's a good size box. Now why am I saying all this? So who knows. But the steps towards the wall eventually though, you're getting into like, oh, then there's the kitchen and the kitchen. You got to deal with all the stuff in the drawers. And that's got to go somewhere. And eventually you feel like you're losing your goddamn mind because you keep taking half steps toward the wall. Well, no, wait, will liquor boxes work in the kitchen too?

Oh, yeah. Okay. All right. I mean, I think one benefit of one reason my bin system is so intoxicating is that I've gone from putting tons of crap in what I will call a big box, putting little bits of well organized things into a small box or or been. So if I have a big

banker's box, in my case, first of all, having boxes that are the same size of whatever it is you're bending is useful for purposes like stacking on a moving truck or whatever. What I'm trying to say is I am, I'm finally, I'm so reluctant to use this phrase because it's so abused. And I have been so hectic about brow beating people who use it incorrectly, but I'm actually getting organized. Uh-oh.

And that involves a lot of half steps where it feels like you're getting closer to the wall, but you're really just taking smaller and smaller steps, not that that's bad. But it's one thing to say, like, so the equivalent of that, you know, in terms of like, you think about how you move a house, you move the bed and the big stuff, the bureau, all that stuff. Well, that's like getting garbage out of your place.

Mm-hmm garbage you can mostly tell is garbage. Mm-hmm. And then at the way, way, way at the other end of that, when you're done with a million half steps, you've got all of your certain like quarter inch mounts, your hot shoes, all the things that you need.
