And it's getting into summer evaluation season. Derek and I

were at Riverside Brookfield. Derek a little longer than I was. We got to see some Illinois recruits,

Illinois targets. I got to see the Illinois coaches out on the road as they have this kind of

high school evaluation period. Then, of course, you have the live period with the AAU circuit

coming up this summer.

Derek, how's your feel to get back on the road, man, and see some prospects, see some coaches?

It feels really good.

It's my element, as you like to say, on Twitter.

And it certainly is something I've been doing for a long time. And anytime you get a chance to be around coaches and sit next to them and talk about prospects,

but also just catch up with what's going on with as far as workouts at this point in time.

But just to see some familiar faces out on the road is always fun.

And then when you have some high-level prospects or guys that are being recruited by high majors

and some that maybe aren't right now but might

blow up that that whole dynamic is always interesting so for me it was always it was great i got

out in louisville a couple of weeks ago i guess that was late may there was no coaches out at that

point but post kade showing up it was kind of a new it was going back in normal reality for me. So, you know,

that's something that gets my juices pumping. Post-COVID, post-Cade. Yeah, nice to have a little

back to reality there. Well, today, Derek, we'll talk about some of the latest on the 2020-23

roster. We'll talk about diving into the future recruiting. Of course, Illinois has a great start in 2024 with two commits.

We'll hone in on the class of 2023 a little bit because I know that's coming into focus.

And I might even ask you a little bit about the NBA draft, which is just two days away as we record this on Tuesday.
