Okay, so we just recorded an entire Oscars recap with Melissa Rivers, which was so much fun and obviously such a dream.

She is certainly more of the expert on the red carpet than we are, as goes without saying, but we felt like

we needed to just come on here for a few minutes and freak out about the things that we're just

frankly not going to freak out about with the guest. For example, Kylie and Timothy. I feel,

and I say this in our episode with Melissa, so unbelievably lucky that we managed to get a full red carpet moment of them.

Like, for me, it did not necessarily need to be the Oscars to see them together on the Vanity Fair.

It almost didn't matter what red carpet it was.

I think I would have been equally as happy.

Well, okay, my thing was that I think we figured it was unlikely she was going to walk the Oscars red carpet with him, right? Like, in our dream world, that would happen. You'll hear Melissa say this. And she's technically totally right that like it is the correct call for her to not, but of course we want it all. But after he lost and after like it was just not a great night for Marty in general, I didn't know

if he was going to go to Vanity Fair. Like I'm really happy he did. I think that was totally the right

call. I think there is a world in which he didn't. And so I was wondering like maybe we'll never

get that, but the fact that they did. And not only do we get the moment of them together where

he kisses her cheek,

but also, and maybe even more so my favorite, when he's just standing off to the side of watching

her do her thing. Like, yeah, that's it. I mean, listen, the best thing that you can do as an actor

slash public figure is be a celebratory of the person who wins in the category you lost in

and also just be a consummate professional. And I think that, oh, consulate. I feel so formal sitting here.

I'm like, I think I'm still a little bit in interview mode of like talking to Melissa that I'm like using SAT buzzword.

I think that I need to take a second to just go back to factory settings.

I was going to say, no, you guys can't see her, but never in my life, I swear to God, I have known this girl for a long time.
