because we had some late breaking news. It's Julian Borel producer here to the point where we,

it's just myself. And it's Danielle Radford. Hi, it's me. That's my name. Danielle, will you do

the honors of announcing the news that broke very late on, on Thursday? So we record on Wednesdays typically.

This week we actually recorded on a Tuesday,

but not that either of those things would have mattered

because on Thursday, as you, I'm sure by now know,

it was announced that Holkogen had passed away

at the age of 71.

And, yeah, Holkogen, I'm not going to do a complicated legacy thing.

I'm not going to do it.

Nah.

It's like, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, like, dance on a man's grave.

But, you know, obviously a lot of people really loved him.

It's weird because you'll still sell people online who will be like, well, all he did was use a bad word once.

And it's like, well, no, I mean, he said he was racist.

Yeah.

I wish that he hadn't, like for a lot of reasons, I wish he hadn't used that word.

But it's the thing is him using that word almost distracted everybody from what he was actually saying.

Yeah, he said, I hate black people.

Yeah, he literally says maybe I am racist.

Like he hated black people and you can't put a shiny veneer over it.
