Hey, everyone, welcome to the messy table, an ordinary space for real women and perfect stories and the God who's constantly at work in our lives, even in, and especially in, the messy parts.

Our hope is that this podcast will breathe a bit of hope and joy into your day. Because life is not always clean cut, our to-do list don't always get completed, and

those sudden, unwanted, and often challenging events do enter our pads.

My name is Cindy Beale, and I get the absolute honor of being your guest host today with

Jen Jewel. Don't you just adore her? She is a breath of fresh air, and even though her physical

frame is petite, she is a spiritual giant when it comes to wisdom, integrity, and, dare I say it,

a bit of gumption. The messy table is partnered with Life Church and Sisters, the women's

ministry, led by the lovely Amy Groschelle. Life Church isn't just Amy's and Jen's Church.

It's mine as well. My husband Chris is the pastor of the Oklahoma City location and I get to serve

with him. Life Church is our spiritual house and we love it. But more than that, we love the global

church. We believe love the global church.

We believe that the local church is the hope of the world and that we're all on the same team.
