Pat Nevy, welcome to the St. Colby Studios podcast. Thank you for being.

0:03.3

Hey, Joe. Thanks so much. It's good. It's good to be here. I was looking forward to this.

0:07.2

Here we are. I'm honored. You, we were talking about this just before we started recording.

0:12.2

You've been in internet Catholicism for a long time, probably roughly about the same time I have, but with much greater success, I'm, I've got some

0:24.3

thoughts on this, but I'm really curious to know your thoughts over the last, you know, say,

0:29.8

I think 10 years or so is probably a pretty good metric for it over the 2016 to 2026.

0:35.3

What do you see has changed and what, if anything, do you see has changed?

0:38.1

And what, if anything, do you see has stayed the same?

unwritten rule that Catholic celebrities, Catholic content creators, whatever,

1:30.0

don't talk about politics.

1:32.5

I think that was a big, that was kind of a line,

1:34.9

like a hard line that people refused to cross.

1:41.0

And that line was crossed, like in 2020.

2:01.5

It's an easy, you know, it's, that's not exactly like a a hot take especially if you're if you're a catholic um but the the political the political uh bend of the catholic
