Okay, on today's podcast, we're going to talk about the only five numbers that matter

in business.

We get caught up in so many things I've learned, you know, countless ways that you can evaluate

whether your business is doing good or not doing good, we got EBITDA and all these endless

different things.

I'm going to just talk to you as a small business owner, what I think moves the needle.

And even if you're a large business owner, I think you would agree with these.

The first number that matters because I ask people this and it's like trying to get a

nuclear secret when I'm trying to buy their company, is how much do you make as the owner?

Ask a small business owner that and you will see a dance.

You will see uncomfortableness.

They will try to tell you all these little things that they're getting.

I'm like, no, no, no.

Tell me what was on your tax return last year.

This business LLC, whatever it is, paid you what?

Give me the number.

They, you will not get that answer.

They'll dance, they'll move because that's the one that matters.

I mean, there's five, but that's definitely, you know, the pre-eminent one.

Because if you're not making money, you have an ex, you know, you have a hobby.

You have a hobby that's probably an expensive hobby and you have one that takes up a great
