Very interesting guy, total mountaineer, like adventure person, and a gear junkie.

Through and through.

He's really an innovative person and he came up with this bipod called the Javelin.

It's become quite popular actually. It's carbon fiber, like super lightweight, portable bipod.

I'll let him tell all about it on today's show.

He's very much into building products that have multi-use, multiple uses in the field.

Especially from a mountaineering background.

Yeah, he has a tripod that works as a tripod for like a camera, but also for your gun for shooting as a shooting rest.

And also as a tent steak for your tent.

So kind of innovative in the sense that why have a tripod and also tent steaks and also tent poles and also a bipod.

Like why have it all when you have one item that serves all of all those functions.

So it's all about getting the weight down and being really efficient in your backpacking.
