You can't even get to the point of understanding edge, what your new edge might be, until you can think, until you can imagine, until you can

really wonder about the possibilities. I want to start today with a simple example, a simple

trend following example, an email that came into me from a customer, a client. He said, do all trend following traders

use spreadsheets alone to trade, or do they use charts for visualization? I'm having a hard time

trading using a spreadsheet alone, and I tend to see a chart. It provides the visualization I need.

I don't know much about this customer.

I only know this particular email that came in.

My immediate retort, what is the visualization for?

If you're trading off price, price price action the movement of price

just as a David Harding at Wenton Capital can use a spreadsheet why can't you

what does the visualization do?
