Summary

It’s official—the Texas ban on abortion after six weeks takes effect as the Supreme Court stays silent. Is this a bellwether for something much greater—the end of Roe v. Wade? Liz breaks down why the Roe ruling is obviously wrong and should be overturned and how we might be one step closer to seeing that happen. Plus, San Diego tries to declare COVID “misinformation” a public health crisis, and a Pennsylvania lawmaker tries to let children get the jab without parental consent. Okay, I want to talk about Chrissy Nome today and we're going to get to that in just a second,

0:02.8

but first, please subscribe to the show and Apple podcasts on Spotify or wherever you get your pods.

0:07.9

It's really helpful when you actually hit that subscribe button or when you give us a five-star rating

0:12.4

or when you write us a review. By the way, I read all of your reviews, so I really appreciate all the

0:16.5

kind words and I do enjoy some of the meaner ones, but don't bother about those. But if you could

0:21.3

subscribe, that would be really helpful. It helps our podcast grow up the charts, which helps more

0:25.8

people find it and hear it and hear the reality, which is what we're all about here anyway. So if

0:30.7

you could hit that subscribe button, it would be greatly appreciated. Okay, today I really want to

0:36.0

talk about Chrissy Nome. There's been a lot of drama around Chrissy Nome and rightly so, by the way,

0:41.6

about her actions when it comes to some of the very pivotal and controversial issues that are

0:46.1

facing our nation right now. And when I say pivotal and controversial, I of course am talking about

0:50.4

cultural issues because those are the hot button issues of the day that divide even conservatives,

0:55.6

even Republicans. This isn't just a liberal versus conservative Republican versus Democrat issue.

1:00.7

When it comes to transgender athletes playing in sports and by transgender athletes, I mean,

1:06.8

biological men who identify as women allowed to play in women's sports. When it comes to vaccine

1:12.8

mandates, these are issues that divide the American people not just along party line.

1:18.0

Chrissy Nome is in the crosshairs of this because she during COVID, she did a lot of good things in

1:24.7

her state. She refused to do some of the lockdowns that other, even Republican governors around the

1:29.6

country were doing. And there were some, even in the conservative news organization sphere, the

1:36.5

commentary at, if you will, who identified Chrissy Nome as one of the rising stars of conservatism.

1:42.4

And I have said this before, I am an eternal skeptic whenever someone is labeled as a rising

1:48.5

star. And in this case, I was correct because Chrissy Nome is not a rising star of conservatism.
