This is Frank, I see on C and B.C. aka the Comedy Channel that the labor force participation rate is 62.8% for July, and the unemployment rate

is 4.9%.

Does this mean that 32.3% of the workforce is unemployed?

I'm confused.

Hopefully I'm even better now. But the layer of

participation rate when you hear that, you could basically put it on your

computer, print it out, crumple up and throw in the garbage because it's meaningless.
