All right. It is message board season at Alignanai Inquirer of basketball off season. And I

kind of use those, that word loosely, as we have learned the last few years.

This is about as crazy of a time as any in the calendar on the college basketball calendar.

But also, our traffic is insane. It is insane the interest that happens this time of year.

But this offseason, I don't know if it'll be as crazy as last off season with three coaches leaving.

That was as crazy as it gets, Derek.

Are you expecting as crazy of one this awesome? It might be busier, actually, which sounds crazy.

It'll be busier. Can we avoid less crazy? I mean, or not avoid less crazy. I just put that

out there in the existence. Maybe we will be as crazy as last year. That was a lot to figure out who's going to be on Braderwood staff, let alone the roster. So I think the staff's in a pretty good spot in terms of being in place. There are going to be some roster decisions both on the current roster and then who you're going to go out and get into the transfer portal. But as we know with the current environment, it's pretty much free agency out there. There's a lot of moving pieces. The portals is as big as ever, bigger names than usual because of the free player movement and everything. And then, of course, you have players making draft decisions as well and a big one with Kofi Kobern coming up next month

in terms of what he's going to decide to do. But it is a crazy time of year. It's fun. I know

for a lot of fans to try to piece together the ideal roster and have a different look and try

to get Illinois basketball back to being a spot to compete for a Big 10 title but for those of us that need to know

stuff about it information it is it's a little stressful but it's part of the job is what we do and

we certainly appreciate all those to follow along yeah this is uh i didn't even introduce ourselves

to see a lot of inquire podcast Jeremy Warner terrick piiper, but I know people just want us to dive into this.

We're going to dive into on this podcast, who's gone, who could return, decisions that are

coming up, and guys who could look for a different opportunity, obviously, but also the potential

addition.
