You know, back in the 60s and 70s, this just wasn't a super contentious issue in this country.

And it seems like in the 80s, this became a much more contentious issue with voters.

I think so many people have relied upon this decision.

And it's now become a right.

It's been in place my entire life.

And if I were a justice, I would vote to uphold this.

But I'm very sympathetic to people who are very frustrated by the

original reasoning in Role.

On today's show, the Department of Homeland Security says its new disinformation board has a misinformation

problem. So nothing confusing going on there. And the return of the White House correspondent's dinner.

We'll check in on journalism's most self-indulgeant night. But first things first, we begin with a historic

leak and potentially a historic decision. The U.S. Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v.

Wade, according to a draft opinion obtained and published by Politico. The language could

change in the months to come, but provided the votes do not, then abortion access in America will considerably change this year, with political battles to follow all over the country.

It's hard to overstate how big of a story this is on so many levels, but Ravi, why don't we start with laying out what we do and don't know at this point?

Right. So Politico, huge story. I have every reason to believe that this document that

they published is authentic. And what it is is a draft opinion of the court, which means to suggest

that if they were releasing this opinion today, it seems that they have five votes to overturn

Roe versus Wade, and we'll get into the details here. But this

actually isn't an official release. The votes could change. So five could turn to six, but also
