0:00.0	Enough with the partisan bickering. I'm going to give you libertarian solutions to the issues we're facing today.

0:23.0	So normally I give you the news of the week from a Libertarian perspective.
0:28.0	But this week I want to really focus on all the big issues, the big headlines if they were
0:39.2	actually addressed from a libertarian ideology from the principles of libertarianism which
0:47.4	happened to be the founding principles the Enlightenment principles behind
0:51.6	this country so normally I will give you my perspective, but people
0:59.1	think it's theoretical. In actuality the principles are very simple.
1:05.0	They are, they led to such great prosperity in this country,
1:10.0	much more even wealth distribution in the 19th century, yet people don't realize how practical and doable
1:18.6	it all is. Now, on the other hand, what I don't like to do is offer policy prescriptions that can be
1:28.1	shoehorned into this welfare warfare superstructure that we have.
1:33.6	So I have disputes with other libertarians
1:36.4	about how to deal with the immigration problem.
1:40.3	To the extent you think there's a problem with immigration, you think too many people are coming in or whatever you think the problems are, these are functions of the policies of the super state.
1:52.0	So you're not going to solve them with policy. of the policies,
1:54.0	you're not going to solve them with policies because
1:57.0	the guys who are doing the back office dealing
1:59.0	know exactly what they're doing
2:01.0	and they're not going to solve the problem. But even if you could actually
2:07.9	solve the problem or make it less bad, you know, whatever you think the problem the problem you know if you think it lowers
