guest. Today I'm happy to welcome my friend and fellow

podcaster Sarah Stewart Holland to the show. She podcast at Pant Suit Politics, the only

political podcast I subscribe to and I'll be on her show in the coming weeks to talk about my

favorite political books. Sarah is drawn to nonfiction but gets fomo with fiction instead of

being purposeful with the fiction she reads. She loves learning about everything she describes

herself like a very thirsty computer-like sponge. She's also obsessed with Hamilton and of course

that comes up in our conversation. Let's get to it. Sarah, welcome to the show. Thank you for

having me. Oh well it is my pleasure. I think if you was just my friend that I met on the internet,

although it's really great that we got to meet in person this summer, but I know a lot of people

think of you as their political friend. So can you tell us a little bit about who you are and what

you do? Well my name is Sarah Stewart Holland and I've been you know in real life and on the internet

for about 35 years now. I started blogging back in 2003. How about that? I didn't like to

talk about that. Yeah personal blog for a long time then to get professional with a blog I had

with my friend in California called Sultan Nectar. Now I blog at bluegrassredhead.com and entered

the I've always been a political blogger. I've always not shot away from political topics. I was a

political science major. I went to law school in Washington DC and then after I graduated from

law school I worked in politics. I worked for Hillary Clinton's 2007 presidential campaign and
