I'm Dusty Slay. I'm your host, and I'm here with my co-host and wife Hannah Hogan. Good afternoon.

Great to be here. It is great to be here. We're recording on a Tuesday. I don't know when we'll put this out, but we're recording on a Tuesday. I don't want to put it out the same day as Nate Land. It's weird to put it out on the same day as another podcast I do.

So we may come out Thursday. It doesn't matter. But it's been a wild weekend. I mean, yesterday, I did a corporate gig on Monday in downtown Nashville at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at 1.30 p.m. in the afternoon. So if you're

not familiar with corporate gigs, but say you are familiar with a comedy club, you know how

at a comedy club, you usually go 7 o'clock, 9 o'clock, sometimes ten, depending on the club.

And depending on what you like to do, you may have a couple of drinks, you may do a J,

you may take some pills, I mean, whatever it is that you're into.

And then you make your way down to a comedy club, presumably to see a comedian that you already know and like.

And then when you're there to see that comedian, other comedians will come out and they'll warm

the audience up for the comedian that you've come to say. So the idea being that by the time that comic hits the

stage, you're in the perfect state of mind. The audience has been put in the perfect state of being

by the openers and then the headliner gets to come out and just rock it and everybody just has a great time.

And it's wonderful.

And sometimes we even hug after the show.

I definitely shake a lot of hands.

I do a lot of fist bumps.

A lot of high fives.

We take pictures.

People buy things for me.

People give me things.

It's just a wonderful, wonderful event that takes place that I'm
