Listen, e-scouting is fun.

Getting trail camera pictures sent to your phone, that's fun.

Hell, almost all scouting is fun.

But the most necessary scouting is the kind where you get into the woods for a first-hand

look at where the deer actually live.

This isn't that much fun this time here, so I guess not all scouting is super fun, I

like.

That doesn't matter, because despite the heat and the bugs and the stinging nettles and

probably the bees or whatever, it's time to get out there and really dig into the woods

and see what it's going to offer you this fall.
