I got some exciting mail this week.

My author copies of the Chinese version of outlining your novel arrived.

The book, among others, has been published in Japanese and Korean before,

but it's always a special thrill to get a box of your own books,

especially when you can't read a word inside them.

Since most of my stuff is independently published, it's fun to see a book with a cover and interior,

you didn't have major input on signing.

I especially like the cover for this Chinese version since it features a very cool

reproduction of an outline which as I know very well is a hard thing to come up with for

cover art. Anyway, just a fun thing that happened this week.

Writers can't live without it. It influences every aspect of story right down to word choice.

But in all frankness, sometimes Povy can be a little hard for us to live with as well.

The vastness and the complexity of the topic makes it all too easy for authors to accidentally

stumble into the problem of sloppy P.O.

choices.

P.O. V. short for a point of view refers to the perspective from which its story is told.
