The anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks is always a surreal day, I think,

for those of us who remember it.

I know some of you watching this show were not yet born.

A lot of Gen Z.

This is actually the difference between Gen Z and the Millennial Generation.

Gen Z wasn't born on 9-11, so they have no memory of it.

They just read about it in the history books, which is kind of hard for me as a millennial to fathom.

Maybe it's how World War II vets feel about Pearl Harbor.

We weren't there.

They still remember the feeling of it.

It's always kind of a surreal day because everyone as individuals remembers what they were doing,

who they were with, where they were, what they thought, the patriotism, the anger, the grief,

that kind of churns in us remembering that day.
