Summary

Listen in as we revisit the amazing stories of Amie Begg. Adventure sports helped Amie not only to over come her substance abuse challenges but also led to a new life as a substance abuse counselor and a whitewater enthusiast. However, shortly into her paddling career, during a rapids run, she suffered a hit to her head resulting in a serious brain injury . Amie spent time recovering and learning to read, walk and talk again. After a successful recovery, she conquered those same rapids proving she had what it took to continue her love for kayaking.
