We were a little surprised to learn what animal he thinks is responsible for more adult turkey deaths but hearing his explanation made perfect sense. He is actively involved in Turkeys for Tomorrow and explains some of their ongoing research. You’ll learn a lot in this one as we ...

weather's on the horizon. It is. Yeah, supposed to dip down next week a little bit. It's funny how the patterns are being. We always have this super warm in January when we need, we did have a cold snow. But it's just, I call them Indian summers, I guess, or something. It's green out. It starts early turkeys. I've been hearing people on this, recording this on the 19, 20, somewhere in there. And I've been hearing people talking about turkeys going for weeks. And then, you know, when we open a season, it'll be like frozen their bills shut. Let's hope not. But couldn't we be taking advantage of this little warm spell? Couldn't we be spraying some clepidom? Maybe. I was thinking about that because we're not able to burn right now. I mean, if it gets above 60 in the day. Yeah, but you want to let everything kind of wake up because clethinum is a contact sport thing and, you know, it's not going to do it, have any residual. And I'd hold off just a little bit and make sure everything is kind of woken up good. You'd have, you'd get more, you'd have more to kill. Yeah, I would say you can get more than usual, but I've been, I've been just on hair trigger with all that some of the places we, and it's amazing where we burned them off, you know, nuked them, burned them off, and just ran the drill. Much better. Thanks to our forensic great plains.
