CSNChicotcom's Scott French and J.J. Stankovitz. We spent the whole podcast talking quarterback.

Now we'll go to the real strong side of the ball as far as this draft is concerned. Front to back and that is of course the defensive side of the ball.

And guys, the consensus here is that Miles Garrett is going to go number one.

I don't know if Cleveland will, yeah, get out of their comfort zone.

If Miles Garrett is available at number three, two teams have really screwed up.

That's right.

Here's the consensus number one overall, of course, out of Texas A&M because I think he's pretty much earned it with his entire body of work,

even though this last year wasn't quite as strong as his previous season,

but I don't think there's very much argument. If the bears do end up with Miles Garrett,

God bless him. But I think the guy whose stock has really risen in this draft from Sun Bowl

on forward now is Solomon Thomas.

And before we weigh in on him, let's hear from Roto World's Josh Norris and get some of his thoughts on the Stanford defensive lineman.

I would listen to the argument that says Solomon Thomas is the second most talented prospect in the entire 2017 NFL draft. He's only going to be 21 years old.

He tested in the 94th percentile in terms of edge rushers entering the NFL.

But at 6.3, 273 pounds, he's a bit of a tweeter.

There's a question if he can succeed as a base defensive end full-time,

only about 100 snaps last year at

that spot, or if his best bet, and moving inside as an interior pass rusher on those obvious

passing situations. Either way, he's going to make an impact, and it's most likely a top

five selection. So he considers Thomas the second most talented player in this draft, a defensive

player in this draft, and there is a ton of defensive talent. And now the concern is after
