The cartridge world with the introduction

of the 7mm backcountry. Eric, this thing, I mean, it just kind of hit like a bomb went off,

and the internet was a buzz, people were a buzz, Ryan and I talk a lot about cartridges. We're

getting flooded with comments. Hey, can you

talk about the 7mm bat country? And that's why you're here. Sweet. That's what, you know,

reached out, tapped you guys on the shoulder and you were going to be here. So it worked out

perfect. And yeah, I just want to learn more about this thing, the why behind it, some of the technology that's involved, and hopefully answer some of our questions and some other folks out there as well. Yeah, happy to help answer anything that you guys have. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Well, welcome. So, I mean, let's just start with this. Like, what is it? What is it good for? And what's kind of the why behind this cartridge?

Sure. There's a lot of cartridges out there, right? There are a lot of cartridges. There are a lot of

284, 7mm cartridges. We started with 284. If you look at kind of the semi-custom rifle builder, the rifle,

even the custom. 284 is that sweet spot between 264 and 308.

There are a lot of long, heavy for caliber, high BC, great weight retention bullets within

that class.

And when we looked at it and looked at the market, a lot of the rifle manufacturers

were taking

barrel lengths and cutting them down.

Suppressors are easier to get.
