How technology is taking on the state in subtle ways. We know the big ways that it's doing it, but there are more subtle ways as well. And we're going to talk today about Uber and some other wonderful new innovations that are usurping tasks that the state had more or less arrogated to itself and also showing up the state in various ways. And joining us to talk about

this today is Jacob Hubert, who is a senior attorney at Liberty Justice Center working in Chicago.

He's been an adjunct professor at the Chicago Kent College of Law and the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. His articles have been published in newspapers across the country, and he is the author of a wonderful book I highly recommend called Libertarianism Today. It is an excellent overview of the libertarian movement, but also of the

positions that libertarians have taken on a wide variety of issues and explaining those positions
