0:39.7	Yeah, it's not anything that I've ever really gotten used to, but thankfully, you know,
0:44.4	in a lot of the hacker communities and things like that, handles have, you know, taken that place in my heart.

0:56.0	about your background a little bit, and then we're going to jump into what in the world is
1:00.7	Infosec. So before you arrived at Anchorage, what were you doing before? So I was working at a company
1:10.4	called ArcSan. ArSAN focused on mobile application
1:15.5	security primarily, where anti-tampering, anti-reverse engineering controls to ensure that people could
1:24.2	not mess with the apps that we use every single day.
1:30.3	A very, a very sort of low level approach.
1:35.4	That's sort of been the underlying theme to everywhere I've been in my career,
1:39.1	has been not just handling things at the application layer, but getting down into the cryptography,
1:41.2	getting down into, you know, down to the machine instructions,
1:43.9	down to the processor level, understanding how programs work, how data actually moves,
1:48.7	and then protecting it wherever it goes.
