We were in Las Vegas for the Paul Mitchell Gathering, and she had just gotten off the stage

where she was part of a panel discussing Instagram hosted by Gordon Miller of Hairbrained. This was the first time that we had met and I fell in love with her outgoing warm personality immediately and I think you're going to do the same.

Another Angelino. Yes. So tell us about where you're from and where you're working.

So I am originally from Washington State, but I've lived in Los Angeles since 2005, and I

am a hairdresser at a salon in Los Angeles.

I own the salon.

It's called Salon Mix.

Awesome.

I'm actually a co-owner of Salon Mix.

And yeah, I work behind the chair, and then I'm also an international travel or, sorry,

international trainer for Paul Mitchell.

Too much talking.

Yeah, I'm sure.

I'm also an international trainer for Paul Mitchell and so I get to travel all over the

world and teach hairdresser how to build their business. That's amazing.

Using some products, tools, and techniques. That's amazing. Yeah. Okay, so how many days behind the chair and how many days traveling? So on average, I'm behind the chair three to four days a week. Okay. Depending on what my travel schedule is, obviously it varies sometimes. sometimes and then I'm on the road at least once a month sometimes twice like during show season it can be three weeks out of a

month that just depends but I would say I'm traveling at least once a month so how do you own a

salon and travel that much well I have a business partner okay so that's really helpful she's also a
