What's going on salt strong nation? I've got a really cool podcast for you guys today. I've seen a lot of folks in the community talking about they've been heading out to try and go fish for reds, but there's been some terrible winds lately here in Texas. We got up to 68 miles an hour just two days ago, and I've got a friend here who's been fishing in some really big red fish tournaments.

In this terrible weather and I've got him here to share some tips with you guys today so you don't got to sit at home and wait out the windstorms.

We are very excited to hear some awesome red fish tips and fishing and some nasty weather from you.

Man, man, oh man, where do we start?

You can play down the, you know, what the weather was until you mentioned 68 miles an hour, right?

That was the, I'm over here in Louisiana. I fished the X caliber last week out of Delacro and now I'm at the professional red fish league first stop in Holma.

And I think we've had experienced it all. We've had the 30 out of the South out of the east out of the West.

We are very similar to when I was in the red fish world series last year.

If we were on high tides, you know, I wouldn't say easy fishing. It was still blowing pretty dang hard every day.

But the tides are up. The water was pretty clear and we could, we can make do. We were on some really good fish and very excited.

And then here comes that West wind and dumps a dumps four feet of water out of the marsh in about 24 hours.

And, you know, be a guide back in Texas and be in a recreational angular my entire life.

The, the go to thing is as man, I'm going to stay home and watch TV tomorrow, but unfortunately in this line, you don't get to do that.

You, you a the most difficult thing to start today is getting your boat off the trailer and the ramps is we had guys that they're the front of their boats were hanging up on the trailers because the tide was so low that the ramp got steep and their boats wouldn't even come off the dang trailer man.

And, but, you know, it, it's one of those things where, you know, I called you an hour ago is that, hey, let's make, let's, let's have some fun to make a podcast.

And please, well, shouldn't you be out pre-efficient right now? Well, I should, but is blowing 35 today tomorrow, those winds were south 35 the day tomorrow, the wind ships to north 20 and then we're east on Friday and Saturday.

And it's one of those things where I could go out today and I could do all the scouting in the world.

But it's going to change tomorrow and the next day and the day after that.
