Podcast. I'm your host once again Lhasla Montgomery I'm going to give it away right at the

beginning and say we're not going to finish off the Ching Dynasty in this sixth

installment of this overview. In fact I'm questioning now if I can even finish

them off in part seven. This one might go to eight. Anyway, we'll see next

week, but today we're loaded and jam-packed with historical events of such great impact and significance

that you could still feel the radiation today over a hundred years after these events

happened.

We are going to cover events that happen under two emperors today. First is the

Tongjir Emperor 1861, 1875. He was the son of Shenfung and his Manchu concubine Yehay Nara, who we know as

Zsuhi Taiho, Chinese history's most notorious Dowager Empress.

He's just a boy emperor and is gone by 1875 living only to the age of 18.
