Chuck Arfine here with Ryan McGuffie and G Guff, today we are in search of the truth. The truth about Luis Robert, not only about his playing ability, but how do you pronounce this man's name? Robert, Robert. Robert. We know why, though. We know why we're going with it. Now, unless Luis Robert eventually says, I can't wait until his name is like Lewis, we're

actually butchering Lewis or Luis.

After all this time, his name will probably be Robertson.

Or Roberte.

We got it confirmed through the agent of Luis Robert that it is Robert.

Not Robert, not Robert, not Robert, but Robert.

I'll go with the guy that's in charge of the money.

Okay.

For now.

So until Luis Robert comes to Chicago and says what his, the pronunciation of his last name is,

we are going on with Luis Robert.

Robert.

Sold.

Sold. Okay. So that's part of it. The other part is we got to find out who is he? What kind of player is he? We're hearing the difference, the spectrum of this guy is vast. I mean, one American League International scouting director says he's the best player on the planet. I don't know. Mike Trout's pretty good. Yes. And he says, without exaggeration, he's one of the best players on the planet. Or he's the best player. He's the best player on the planet. And there are other scouts who question his hitting ability and say he'll have a slow climb the majors. Yeah. And I think that's part of it, though, is you've got to figure out, like, you take the highest high and the lowest low, and then we've got to sift through, like, you and I've watched enough Luis Robert videos. Like, the two of us could edit the best of Chuck Garfin and Ryan McGuffey and put it on YouTube, and people are like, man, these guys can't miss. They could be in any market in the world. That's just not true. Yeah, I want to see some of of his failures, which we don't have. Right. That's what I'm saying. These videos have all been everything just makes you drool. And we haven't laid our eyes on them, and some of these guys have. Okay. So on the podcast here today, we're going to have Keith Law from ESPN.com. He's a guy who has spoken to scouts

who aren't as high on Luis Robert is, or aren't as high on Luis Robert as, like, say,

the White Sox are. Yeah, but I don't know. Maybe to be fair, they are as high as the White Sox are.

And in saying that, like, I'm not, maybe that, Lou, we haven't heard from the White

Sox scouts, but we assume they love him.
