Today we're going to be talking about gatekeeping and its social and political ramifications.

Now if you're not familiar with the term gatekeeping, it's a pretty simple concept.

The dictionary defines gatekeeping as the activity of controlling and usually limiting general access to something.

Basically gatekeeping is exactly what it sounds like it would be.

You're keeping the gate, preventing people from entering into whatever it is that you're gatekeeping. I find that
