Hello there. Welcome back to Monocicle, a podcast by Manorpeller hosted by Leander Medine.

I know these episodes have been a little bit more sparing than usual, whereas they used to occur once a week.

They're happening now more frequently once every other week,

and I think the topic of this week's episode is going to speak rather acutely to why that is.

I'm thinking about the difference between comfort and complacency. I've been thinking about it a lot

lately because there have been a lot of changes that are occurring at man-repeller. For one thing, we recently promoted our digital director to president, and she's

alleviated a lot of the business administration role from my plate, which has been so freaking

fantastic. In addition to that, we also hired a new editorial director. Her name is Leslie Price, and she's wonderful.

She's been so helpful, and my mind isn't constantly racing anymore.

I'm sleeping fuller nights.
