Summary

If you have ever experienced the discomfort of a panic attack, you will appreciate this episode. When it comes to managing Panic, there is a lot of bad advice out there.  I often have clients come to me reporting that they have been trying to "Stop Panicking" for years, only to find that nothing was working.  They report painfully fast heart rates, tight chests, and fear that they will die.  If you have experienced this, you are definitely not alone. In today's podcast, I will share with you My 5 Favorite Tips for Managing Panic Attacks (or Anxiety Attacks). As I mention in the episode, these are not the ONLY tips you need, but they are super important ones and ones I share often with my clients.  These mindfulness tools are SUPER helpful in managing your mindset and perspective on anxiety. I hope they help you on your journey to managing anxiety, panic, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and other struggles related to fear and worry. Forward we go, Kimberley

how much it means to me that you would spend your precious time with me. Before we get started,

I really want to thank everyone who reached out

1:13.5

to me regarding last week's podcast and shared with me how helpful it was. For those of you

1:21.4

who haven't listened last week's episode was about whack it together. And that was a silly tool that I used personally when I'm trying to beat

1:31.1

perfectionism or I'm trying to rid myself of vulnerability or fear. So I do encourage you to go and

1:40.7

listen to that. But I just wanted to mention to everyone who reached out to me,

1:44.7

thank you so much. The stories were incredible. It's so wonderful to hear people saying that it

1:51.9

helped them or that it was a major shift for them and to hear some of the scary things that they

1:57.4

did or they whacked together ultimately. So I'm just adore hearing those stories.

2:04.6

And if you're on Instagram or Facebook, I just love hearing it. So don't hesitate to message me and

2:11.2

let me know. Okay. So let's get straight to it because that's why you're here. Today, we are talking about the five important tips to help you manage panic.

2:25.8

Now, before we start, I want to sort of make sure I'm very clear that, of course,

2:32.8

the real management of panic disorder involves more than five steps.

2:37.9
