0:29.9	And today we're going to get really into this whole idea of the family government,
0:35.0	you know, how God's divine plan for his kingdom government involves
0:39.1	this family structure and how we each have a unique role. And I know a lot of the women
0:44.7	were listening to the episodes and we got two men talking about how women need to be obedient
0:49.6	to men and it probably sounds not very fun. But, you know, I really want to just put it out there how much we, we value each role that each person plays.
1:00.8	And we're all in submission to someone or something, especially Christ.
1:04.8	So, Barry, can you kind of give us maybe some fundamental level here about authority and then we can get into the different
1:11.1	roles okay well thanks sean authority you know what is the source of authority well as
1:20.5	bible believing and bible obedient christians i trust that we are and we're you know working
1:26.6	on that perfecting our obedience to our Lord.
1:29.3	We do read in the very last words of what he said on the earth before he ascended to heaven to his disciples.
1:40.5	Okay.
1:40.8	And so we are his disciples.
1:43.0	He said, all authority, both in heaven. Okay. And so we are his disciples. He said, all authority, both in heaven and on the land, have been given to him.
1:52.6	And then he, part two of that, he says, go therefore and make disciples of the nations.
2:01.7	In other words,
2:02.4	make disciplined learners after me.
2:05.7	So everything hangs on authority and leadership, quite frankly.
2:11.0	And we've got to start there, Sean.
