I'm here with my co-host, Barry Dermaz.

And today we're going to get really into this whole idea of the family government,

you know, how God's divine plan for his kingdom government involves

this family structure and how we each have a unique role. And I know a lot of the women

were listening to the episodes and we got two men talking about how women need to be obedient

to men and it probably sounds not very fun. But, you know, I really want to just put it out there how much we, we value each role that each person plays.

And we're all in submission to someone or something, especially Christ.

So, Barry, can you kind of give us maybe some fundamental level here about authority and then we can get into the different

roles okay well thanks sean authority you know what is the source of authority well as

bible believing and bible obedient christians i trust that we are and we're you know working

on that perfecting our obedience to our Lord.

We do read in the very last words of what he said on the earth before he ascended to heaven to his disciples.

Okay.

And so we are his disciples.

He said, all authority, both in heaven. Okay. And so we are his disciples. He said, all authority, both in heaven and on the land, have been given to him.

And then he, part two of that, he says, go therefore and make disciples of the nations.

In other words,

make disciplined learners after me.

So everything hangs on authority and leadership, quite frankly.
