When I was in junior high, there was a motivational speaker that came to our school.

0:17.0

And he, I loved him. I love all motivational speakers and I still do.

0:23.0

And his message really stuck with me. I don't remember a lot of what he said, but what I do remember is that he said that self discipline is the key to success.

2:05.0

And so it's a subject that I know I throw in here a lot and I don't mean to only focus on that.

2:12.0

But I think it's such a big one that we sometimes just brush aside because it feels meaningless.

2:17.0

But if you want to be more self-disciplined in keeping up on the housework, then there are some things I want to offer today that go beyond self-discipline.

2:30.0

Okay. So if you think about that word discipline and let me back up for a minute and say that that particular mantra self-discipline is the key to success has served me really well through a lot of my life.

2:44.0

I'm not always as disciplined as I wish I was but if there's an area that I really want to be successful at, I know that I can if I just discipline myself enough.
