Summary
This podcast is worth the Patreon membership all by itself!
Chris Sheets is a badass who straight-up gets after it with whatever weapon is in his hand. Chris and I cover late season rifle hunting and talk about the pros of pushing through the storm and staying on the mountain when no one else will. Chris recently capitalized on just this situation and pushed so hard that he about didn’t make it off but persevered in the face of a nasty snowstorm.
There is a pile of helpful tips for anyone holding a rifle tag but I think the biggest takeaway for me is that just because its a rifle tag does not give you the ability to half-ass your effort. In fact if you put the same effort into rifle that you would archery you could find yourself not only away from other hunters but into great elk.
