2:03.2 | And so I've got to inform you about what this even is. According to the Washington Post, the Biden administration and private companies are working to develop |
2:11.2 | a standard way of handling credentials, often for two as vaccine passports that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus |
2:20.2 | as businesses try to reopen. The effort has gained momentum amid President Biden's pledge that the nation will start to regain normalcy this summer. |
2:28.2 | And with a growing number of companies from cruise lines to sports teams saying that will require proof of vaccination before opening their doors again. |
2:36.2 | By the way, this is already happening in New York. They have something called like the Excelsior Pass that is actually required to get into some places like, for example, a Mets game. |
2:47.2 | There are already a lot of concerns with how that is rolling out privacy concerns being shared and access concerns too for people who haven't gotten vaccines. |
