Again, there's a clear distinction between salvation by works, salvation by grace through faith.

Of course, that's a doorway to salvation. But it carries with it these realities of obeying the

gospel and coming to God on his terms. John MacArthur said, the gospel Jesus proclaimed was a call

to discipleship, a call to follow him

in submissive obedience, not just a plea to make a decision or pray a prayer.

Modern evangelism has substituted a message of easy-believism that offers heaven without

holiness, forgiveness without repentance, and salvation without submission.

Now, if anyone questions, based on what we know MacArthur's doctrinal stance was that he believes

in salvation by grace alone through faith alone, then you're crazy.

You don't understand where he stands.

But he's talking about the fullness of the truth of the message.

And how'd that go? I got a voice message. I think he might have passed on. Which is better that it was a voice message. Now he could share the story with people. Yes. And play your voice. Yeah. Yeah. You know, this is a thing, though, guys. I mean, I remember, well, yeah. False reports. I remember reading about Opie. What's his name? Howard. Stern. Whoa. Ron Howard. Yeah. Opie. And what was

his name on Happy Days? Richie Cunningham. Richie. I remember reading something he died. And it's crazy because you go through the emotions. I'm sitting there reflecting on him. Oh, O.P. Richie. And then I'm not dead. They end up, you know. That's like when I heard Elvis Presley was dead. What? No, he's not the... Really? Yeah, yeah, it was just a rumor.

Yeah.

So crazy, man.
