And welcome to the show ladies and gentlemen. Today all we are going to be doing is discussing Black Mirror Season 3, something that we've gotten a lot of requests for.

I was really psyched that Netflix is doing another season. I thought after the Christmas special it might be over but nope, we got another full season.

It seemed like they had a lot more money to throw at it too this time with that Netflix cast.

And of course one of the episodes is directed by friend of the show, Dan Trachtenberg. So a lot of things to get excited for about this season.

So I remember Diffing Your Hard War when Black Mirror first came out and it was not super easy to access in the United States.

Like 2011. Yeah. But when I watched it I just thought, oh my gosh this is such an original voice that is telling Twilight Zone-esque stories that have to do with our technology.

I think we were all engrossed and like it really captured our attention in a way that a few other things have. And Jeff Kanada, is this a show Black Mirror that you covered on TRS?

I think we were already done with TRS by that time.

Gotcha. But is it Black Mirror something you had exposure to prior to this week?

Oh yes. Oh my gosh. I was obsessed with Black Mirror for a while. I just thought the world of it.

I've always been a fan of Twilight Zone. I've always been a fan of that kind of storytelling with a wonderful twist or a, you know, that be careful what you wish for a type of thing.

And marry that with my love of technology and how just a stuute and a spot on the observations about technology are in this show.

And to have each episode show a such a wildly different view of the future, but it's not far future. It's just day after tomorrow future and how plausible it all seems and how you can imagine this tech actually happening.

I think my favorite episode up to this point before season three started is the entire history of you.

Yeah.

And that is a particular in particular an episode that has stayed in my consciousness all the time.
