We are now less than 24 hours away from the end of the presidency of Donald Trump.

And hear me, and hear me clearly.

I am nothing but a lady that this man is leaving, he is destructive, he is problematic,

he is dangerous and not just his rhetoric, but his actions as well.

And I am proud of all of us who voted this man out of office.

Yet we are about to move in to what I know is going to be a very difficult political season.

Because in a lot of ways, it's easy to oppose a supervillain like Donald Trump. But how willing are we going to be

to push Joe Biden and his administration and the Democratic Party? How willing are we going to be

to push those in the House and in the Senate to actually do right by us?

It's one thing when you are opposing the Republican Party.

But here we are. Democrats now control the House, the Senate, and the presidency.

Are they going to do right by us, particularly on issues of justice?

I want to say where I think we're going, and I'm concerned.
