0:00.0	Peter who had never gone to seminary and was a fisherman by trade,
0:04.0	went on to preach the gospel with such anointing, such conviction and such power that that day,
0:10.0	3,000 people got saved.
0:12.0	Now in verse 41, we read that with many other words he testified and strongly urged him saying,
0:17.0	be saved from this corrupt generation.
0:19.0	So those who accepted his message
0:21.2	were baptized. And that day, about 3,000 people were added to them. Now, I mean, don't forget,
0:28.1	this is the St. Peter that had walked with Jesus. He'd witnessed miracles. He listened to the
0:34.1	word himself, proclaim the word. and yet being with Jesus alone.
0:39.3	It didn't empower him to be a witness for Jesus.
0:42.3	Remember he's the guy that denied knowing Jesus.
0:45.3	So just walking with Jesus didn't give him the power to be a witness for Jesus.
0:50.3	But when he was filled with the Holy Spirit, well, what happened?
0:55.7	He got up with courage, he preached at that day, 3,000 people were saved.
1:01.5	I want you to know today that there's a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit available for you.
1:05.5	We're living in chaotic and dark and divisive days, and we all need the power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses for Christ in these days.
1:14.6	So if you're feeling weary, defeated, overwhelmed or numb, I'm believing for you to have a fresh encounter right there on the other side of this screen with the Holy Spirit.
1:30.3	We've all faced moments where faith feels tired or peace feels so far away and we seem to have
1:37.7	lost our joy. But flourishing is not found in the absence of storms or challenges. It's
1:43.8	actually found in digging deeper roots.
