So I thought it was a really powerful episode,

I definitely want to talk about Man of War, the second book that you've written, but the

first novel, you know, the first book was you've written but the first novel you know the first

book was about some guys that you served but I think before we wouldn't get into

that just the fact that we're in New York City on the 17th anniversary of 9-11 like

thing would be interesting just to hear about like where

you were and for you guys you really changed the course of your life so yeah you you

want me to start yeah please yeah so I was a sophomore in college you know I think I was a I think back in the day I was a sophomore in college, you know, I think back in the day I was an elementary education major.

I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life.

I mean, the only thing I was really focused on was like trying to figure out what beer I was going to get my hands

on that night, you know, because I was like still under 21.
