0:16.4	one today. That is the bill that has to do with our voting processes here in the United
0:22.3	States and why it is so troubling and so disastrous and what we actually need to know about
0:28.0	it, what we need to know about the state of it, where it is now. I'm going to talk to Congressman,
0:34.0	Congressman from Texas, Chip Roy, on what HR one is. We're also going to talk about the border
0:40.6	crisis. We'll talk a little bit about the growing debt as well. Then I want to talk about the
0:46.8	statement that was released by some evangelicals who voted for Biden who now say that they are
0:53.6	feeling betrayed. As you may expect, I have some thoughts about that. But first, my conversation
1:02.7	with Congressman Chip Roy. Here he is. Congressman, thank you so much for joining us. There's so much
1:13.5	that I want to talk to you about today. Let's start out by talking about HR one. A bill that has
1:21.2	been passed in the House under the guise of protecting election integrity. Is that what this bill does?
1:27.9	Well, that great to join you. It's going to be on the show. It's HR one for a reason. These guys
1:32.5	named their bills a certain number in order to get priority. This was their first out of the
1:37.2	box priority of the Democrats. The federal takeover of elections. That's what this is. This is a
1:42.3	bill that would take all of the decisions we like to make in Texas, where you and I live,
1:47.3	or any state and union, they go put it into Washington for federal bureaucrats to tell us how we
1:52.2	vote. Importantly, they would be increasing the very problems that we experienced in November.
1:57.7	They would be taking, for example, ballot harvesting and putting it on steroids. They would be
2:02.6	increasing mail and ballots, not decreasing it, even though there's general bipartisan agreement
2:07.3	that mail and ballots are much more right for fraud. They would be expanding mail and ballots.
2:12.6	They would be making it to where we're paying for the campaigns of politicians who want to hold
2:18.0	office for members of Congress. They would be collecting private information on people, which makes
